WHO ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE “TAJIKS OF AFGHANISTAN”?
We are some Tajik women in the diaspora, heartbroken by current events in Afghanistan and looking for ways to contribute positively to our people.
OUR AIM
- First, we aim to highlight the culture, history, legacy, and struggle of the Tajiks of Afghanistan.
- Second, we work with Tajik writers in Afghanistan to publish articles shedding light on the realities of Tajik life in Afghanistan under the Taliban. We provide monetary compensation to our writers living in Afghanistan (€20 per article), thereby contributing to their economic situation.
Under the Taliban regime, Tajiks are currently undergoing genocide in the form of targeted and mass killings, forced displacements, media silencing, and political imprisonment. Therefore, we strive for anonymity in order to not put any lives in danger.
